LamProbe

What is LamProbe?

The Lamprobe is a non invasive radio, high frequency technology to treat minor skin abnormalities without penetrating the skin’s surface.  It is used to treat these superficial irregularities non-invasively and extremely rapidly (3-5 sec), without the need of anesthesia. The discomfort level experienced by the client is tolerable, with the sensation produced feeling much like a tight pinch to the skin.  Patients commonly see immediate results, usually in only one treatment.

Some Quick Answers:

Q - What is the Lam Probe?

The Lam Probe is an instrument which quickly and effectively treats a variety of common skin irregularities including age spots, benign moles, cherry angiomas, cholesterol deposits, clogged pores, milia, and skin tags.

Q - Who is a candidate for the Lam Probe?

Men and women of any age who have benign, minor conditions of the skin may be good candidates for the Lam Probe.

Q - Is anesthesia used for the Lam Probe procedure?

Anesthesia is not necessary for the Lam Probe procedure.

Q - How is the Lam Probe procedure performed?

The Lam Probe is applied to the skin for just two to five seconds per spot, effectively vaporizing cells at the desired spot. There is no bleeding.

Q - What is the recovery like after the procedure?

While patients can return to their normal routine immediately after treatment with the Lam Probe, a healing time of a couple of days to one week can be expected. A slight redness or a small scab can be expected.

Q - When will I be able to return to work after my Lam Probe procedure?

Work and other normal activities can be resumed immediately after treatment. There is no downtime.

Q - What are the risks or possible complications of the Lam Probe?

The Lam Probe procedure is virtually risk free. It is almost painless – like a pinch to the skin. Scratching off the scab prematurely may cause a small indentation in the skin. Darker skin types may have a degree of hypo-pigmentation afterwards, which improves over time.

Q - How long is the procedure time for a Lam Probe treatment?

The Lam Probe process itself takes just a few seconds per spot. Sometimes patients may require a repeat treatment.
